Bulk Material Hauling
Cost effective solution to all your dump truck hauling needs.

About Our Bulk Material Hauling Services
New construction requires moving a great deal of bulk material in the form of hauling in different types of gravel and hauling out excavated topsoil and clay fill material. Anything that can be loaded with a machine and transported and dumped in bulk is the most cost effective means to move material. Agate NorthWest will match your material needs with the closest source locations to keep hauling times and mileage as low as possible.
We maintain an excellent relationship with the county quarries and transfer sites. We’re able to provide all of the material that’s available from these sources. Due to our low overhead, we’re a bit more competitive with our trucking charges and we’re much easier to schedule, particularly with smaller or fewer loads. If your project requires the removal of fill material, we will search for the closest and cheapest disposal sites to keep your costs as low as possible.
Let us know what your needs are and we’ll do our best to keep your costs low when it comes to bulk material hauling.

frequent questions
Get the answers to our most commonly asked questions about Bulk Material Hauling.
Is there a minimum amount of material that can be hauled?
Bulk material is charged by weight, so you can order any amount. However, trucks are loaded with machine loaders so actual amounts may be slightly more or less. Our trucks can haul a maximum of 13 tons per load.
How do you charge for material and delivery?
We charge a flat rate per ton for the material. Material rates vary depending upon the type material ordered. We also charge a flat rate per hour for hauling. Our hauling rate is typically less than what the quarry charges. We also source the closest quarry or transfer site to your location to keep hauling time to a minimum.
What do I need to consider when having bulk material delivered?
We want to be sure that a large dump truck can drive in and turn around, or back into your property. Your drive or driveway should be solid enough to support the weight of the truck and material. If you’re not sure, we can take a look before sending our truck. Placing a tarp on the ground where you’d like the material also lets us know where to dump and makes clean-up easy when you’re done moving the material.
